Long Island Scuba Technical Training
Wreck Diving Wreck Diving is one of the most exciting types of diving you can do. The course is designed to give divers the fundamentals needed to safely conduct wreck dives within the recreational limits. Skills taught include: gas management/ dive planning, reel usage, liftbag deployment and wreck navigation.
Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures Advanced Nitrox and Decompression procedures courses examine the theory and procedures for planning decompression dives. These courses are combined to allow for the use of higher percentages of oxygen for accelerated decompression. Max depth is 150' (45m) Minimum requirements include: nitrox diver, minimum of 25 dives, DAN insurance or equivalent.
Basic Trimix Basic Trimix allows divers to use helium in their diving mixtures to help manage nitrogen narcosis in depths ranging from 100' to 200'. Requirements include: Advanced nitrox/ decompression procedures diver, minimum 100 dives, DAN insurance or equivalent.
